Bagh Tola, which literally means Tiger's Village, is now ready to open its door to guests starting 15th November 2011. Spread over 44 acres of wooded forest, an organic kitchen garden and small ponds scattered at random, the lodge provides an ideal getaway from the hectic Urban Life. We have taken our inspiration from Central India dwellings whilst designing this lodge and it definitely has turned out to be a place where "time stands still"!

This wonderful lodge comes complete with 44 lithographs, antique furniture gleaned from old houses around India and of course a priceless collection of hunting tales. In order to cause minimal footprint on the ground Bagh Tola is designed around a courtyard reminiscent of the Anglo-Indian railway colonies that central India was famous for. The eight bedrooms, two in each corner of the courtyard are wonderfully spacious and elegant in their colonial design.

Our team comprises of a naturalist manager, kitchen crew trained in delighting with both European and Indian cuisine and a designated "attendant" for each room to handle all other guest requirements.

Evenings are spent in the open courtyard with evening grills around the bonfire, an open bar is provided with guest being free to help themselves to the spirits of their choice whilst chatting about the on-going conservation efforts as well, of course as the day’s sightings in the park.
