Morning and evening park safaris are taken in open-air vehicles in the company of the highly knowledgeable resident naturalists and the park’s instinctive guides to maximise the chances of meeting Kanha’s exquisite wildlife forms along its meandering paths. If and when Tigers are located by the Mahouts and their elephants in the mornings, Tiger Shows, or preferably “Sher Darshan” – a blessing of the Tiger - can be experienced from elephant back. After long and rewarding days traversing Kanha mesmerizing jungle tracks, relaxation under a blanket of the most brilliant night sky around a campfire is a must. Abuzz with the excitement of exchanging experiences, and listening to tales of past events in this glorious park, the evenings pass as swiftly as the days. Periodically members of the Baiga Tribe are invited to thrill one and all with their most ancient of dances, accompanied by the earthy resonance of both the Manda and Nangara Drums.
